Our Story

It started with a place to stay.

When family members moved from Hawaiʻi to San Francisco, my grandmother made sure they had somewhere to land. She opened her home and gave them a place to stay while they got on their feet.

It wasn't a program. There was no application. It was simply what family did: a safety net that made a hard transition possible.

Kekui Hale takes that idea and gives it structure. Not everyone has a grandmother with a spare room, but many working families need the same thing she offered: time, stability, and a foundation to build from.

Kekui Hale isn't the destination. It's the bridge.
